We all love live music. It really is something special to see your favourite band live and in the flesh with thousands of other people who feel the same way. A few drinks and a sing song. What could be better. That's why we decided to list some of the gigs we have in our calendar for 2018.

The Kooks - Olympia Theatre 18.01.2018

The Kooks - Olympia Theatre 18.01.2018

The Kooks have been together for a decade and the guys are celebrating by playing all their hits on their Best Of Tour. Love them or hate them it doesn't really matter because The Kooks debut album “Inside In/Inside Out” sold over 1 million copies. That's a ridiculous amount of albums for any band to sell.

Hayseed Dixie - Whelan’s 30.01.2018

Hayseed Dixie - Whelan’s 30.01.2018

What can you say about Hayseed Dixie. They might look like a bit of a novelty act but Bluegrass cover versions of massive hits. I dont understand whats not to like. Hayseed Dixie have been known to play tunes like War Pigs, Walk This Way, Money Talks, Black Dog and Bohemian Rhapsody all with banjos and washboards. Well worth a gander. Trust me though when the Motorhead classic Ace of Spades comes on expect a few pints to go flying through the air.

Red Hot Chilli Pipers - Vicar Street - 11.02.2018

Red Hot Chilli Pipers - Vicar Street - 11.02.2018

A bit in the same vein as Hayseed Dixie but get ready for some classic songs like you have never heard them before. There is nothing more epic that AC/DC’s Thunderstruck ripping out of a set of bagpipes.

Randy Newman - Vicar Street - 09.03.2018

Randy Newman - Vicar Street - 09.03.2018

Okay, okay, Randy Newman is not everyone’s cup of tea and it’s hard to get the Family Guy sketches out of the back of your mind when you hear him sing but Randy Newman is a prolific song writer and truly something to behold. He wrote the songs for Toy Story! What else does the man need to do to command your respect. Don’t expect much dancing or any circle pits but trust me this will be an amazing show.

Death From Above - Vicar Street - 14.03.2018

Death From Above - Vicar Street - 14.03.2018

I seen Death from Above a long, long time ago at Oxegen Festival. It makes me feel old. What band the duo are. It the perfect medley of dance, electro garage rock. Now that truly is a sub genre if ever I’ve seen one. Well worth checking out if you have never heard this duo and snap a ticket ASAP.
